Diploma in Business Administration - Level 2

Who is this for?

The qualification is aimed at individuals who want to work in administrative support roles in both public and private sector or wish to improve their administrative skills.

What will I study?

The Business Administration qualification covers topics in

  • Communication in a business environment 

  • Principles of providing administrative services 

  • Principles of business document production and information management 

  • Understand employer organisations 

  • Manage personal performance and development 

  • Develop working relationships with colleagues 

To achieve the level 2 qualification, you are required to complete 45 credits, 21 credits from the mandatory units and a total of 24 credits from the optional units as listed below:

Group A, a minimum of 14 credits

Group B, a maximum of 10 credits

Group C, a maximum of 6 credits 

A minimum of 26 credits must b at Level 2 or above.

What are the entry requirements?

Applicants must have achieved English level 1.

How long is the Course?

The course duration is for 9 months.

The course will be delivered online and through classroom delivery. 

Applicants will be required to be in employment or attend a 1-day per week compulsory work placement.
