How do I apply for a course?
You can apply online or in person. First find the course you would like to study and complete the online application and include the full course name and course code.
Email the completed form to admin@eccollege.org.uk. Once you’ve applied, we will invite you for an interview (online or face to face) and to sit the initial assessment test. You can also apply for an online course via the link on the Courses page. If you wish to complete your application in-person, contact us beforehand on 0208 800 6621 between 10am – 4pm to book an appointment. Do I need a reference to support my application?
If we need a reference from your current school, college or employer, we will ask you to bring one in to enrolment.
Do I need to provide any documents when applying to study with you?
When you apply to study at ECC your application form must be submitted along with the following:
Current proof of photo Proof of Residency (EU/UK) Proof of address (dated within 3 months) Proof of National Insurance Proof of income Previous certificates
Do I have to attend college in the evening or at the weekend?
Classes usually take place between 9am and 5pm on Monday to Friday. However, the exact times will vary depending on your chosen course. You will be advised of the full timetable at induction. Some courses may require attendance at workshops or special events outside of normal hours (9am – 5pm). You will always be notified in advance if you are required to attend class in the evenings, weekends or during half term and or holidays.
What grades do I need to study at ECC?
We have courses to suit everyone at ECC, no matter your entry point. Each of our courses list the specific entry requirements – , starting from Entry Level through to Level 3 and higher.
When will the interview take place?
We hold interviews on-line and in person from Monday – Friday between 10am – 6pm. You will be notified of your interview booking via text or email. Once you’ve had your interview, we will be in touch to inform you of the outcome
When do your courses start?
At ECC we operate roll-on roll-off course starts. This means that although most courses commence at the main intake periods of September, January and April learners can start anytime throughout the academic year. Once you’ve enrolled, we will give you the exact start dates and times for your chosen course.
Will I get help to find placement or a job?
At ECC we have considerable collective experience of further and higher education sectors and employment markets. We use this knowledgebase to provide information, advice and guidance to support clients to make their next career or educational move. The EdPartners team supports clients through one-to-one advisory clinics focusing on their needs. By assessing the applicant’s current skill set and academic level the team work to provide College and University options to continue further studies. ECC EdPartners also provide employability support and can assist in the development of Personal Statements, CVs as well as the generation of education and work placements.
