What are Functional Skills?
Functional skills are the essential skills needed in ICT to be able to confidently and actively participate in life. The functional skills courses help to develop real life skills across all disciplines making it applicable for daily life and personal development for young people and adults.
Who is this course for?
For individuals who want to improve their ICT skills and work towards gaining a
Level 2.
What will you gain?
Our functional skills courses are aimed at developing the skills and knowledge required to help propel individuals into better employment, further and higher education. The skills gained help to develop and build confidence and abilities in a range of IT techniques. This course will help participants develop practical ICT skills and learn how to use technology for everyday life, study and work.
The courses we offer start from entry level up to levels 2 (Level 2 Functional skill is equivalent to a grade 9-4(A-C) GCSE).
At the end of the course learners will take recognised exams.
When do classes run?
Classes run all year round and at different times of the day. We deliver courses during the day, evening and at the weekends for UK/EU and non UK/EU residents.
What are the entry requirements?
Applicants will be invited to do an initial assessment and interview.

10 – 12 weeks
